Exclusive Black Rice Steamed Cake
Wholesome steamed black rice cake: soaked black rice and red dates blended to a smooth batter, fermented lightly with yeast, then steamed into soft, mildly sweet muffin-like cakes.
Instructions
- 1
Soak black rice in advance for 4-6 hours.
- 2
Put red dates, black rice, and water into a blender and blend into a paste.
- 3
Add 60 grams of flour and 3 grams of yeast powder to the rice cereal and stir until there are no lumps. Cover with plastic wrap and let it ferment.
- 4
Stir the fermented batter to release the air, pour it into cupcake liners, cake molds, or bowls, and steam for 25-30 minutes.
- 5
It can be eaten with rice cereal.
