Exclusive Brown Sugar and Red Date Cake
Exclusive Brown Sugar and Red Date Cake: crushed red dates, brown sugar and milk in a few quick steps, baked until light, fluffy and golden. Perfect with tea or as a snack.
Instructions
- 1

Add brown sugar to the milk and dissolve it.
- 2

Pour in the crushed red dates, heat over low heat, let the date flesh absorb the milk and soften, then let it cool and set aside.
- 3

Add a room temperature egg to the bowl of jujube meat.
- 4

Use an electric mixer to beat until fluffy, and the figure eight pattern does not easily disappear.
- 5

Sift in the cake flour, baking powder, and baking soda, and mix evenly.
- 6

Add corn oil along the edges of the batter and fold evenly.
- 7

Pour into a 28cm baking pan lined with oiled paper, sprinkle white sesame seeds on the surface, and place in a preheated oven, middle rack, at 150°C for about 45 minutes.
- 8

Bake for about 35 minutes; if the color is even, you can cover it with aluminum foil.
- 9

Give it two gentle shakes right out of the oven, no need to invert.
- 10

Slightly cool, invert to unmold, and remove the oiled paper. Once completely cooled, cut into small pieces according to your preference.
- 11

Finished product.
