Exclusive Cold Soup Wontons
Plump pork wontons seasoned with wine, soy, sesame oil, and spice powders, boiled just until fragrant, then served in a chilled seasoned broth for a refreshing cold twist.
Instructions
- 1

Mix the ground pork evenly with cooking wine, light soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, Thirteen Spice, and beef bouillon powder.
- 2

Add chopped green onions.
- 3

Add the seasoning oil (the method for making seasoning oil is in the previous recipe). Stir evenly again.
- 4

The wonton wrappers are store-bought, and then wrapped into wontons.
- 5

Boil in water until fragrant, then cook for another half a minute, a total of 2–3 minutes.
- 6

Put the wonton seasoning into a large bowl.
- 7

I like this brand, I've been eating it for more than ten years. I don't recommend making soup seasoning yourself with seaweed and dried shrimp, because I tried it and it didn't taste good. The proportion of this soup seasoning is just right.
- 8

Add a little white pepper powder.
- 9

Add chopped cilantro.
- 10

Once the wontons are cooked, scoop them into the soup ingredients, serving only the wontons without the soup. This is the main difference between cold soup and hot soup.
- 11

Let it sit for half a minute, gently mix the wontons and the base seasoning so that the seasoning fully melts, then add chilled boiled water. (I used mineral water because we happened to have no chilled boiled water at home)
- 12

Spread an egg into an egg sheet.
- 13

Shred the egg crepe and add it to the wontons.
