Exclusive Cranberry Pumpkin Steamed Bun
Soft golden steamed buns colored and sweetened with mashed pumpkin, dotted with tart dried cranberries, shaped without proofing and steamed for a moist, gently sweet crumb.
Instructions
- 1

Peel and slice an old pumpkin, steam it in an electric cooker until cooked, and mash it while hot.
- 2

Cranberries are roughly chopped and set aside.
- 3

Prepare the flour.
- 4

Put the flour, pumpkin puree, and yeast powder into the bread machine bucket and start kneading, the default time is 20 minutes.
- 5

Add the dried cranberries to the dough during the kneading process when there is no dry flour.
- 6

The kneaded dough is very smooth and does not need to ferment.
- 7

Directly divide into dough pieces of even size.
- 8

Knead each piece of dough into a round bun by hand, place them into the steamer one by one, and let them rest for about 20 minutes. The indoor temperature today is around 26°C.
- 9

Then steam in a pot of cold water, steam for 15 minutes after the water boils, and then simmer for five minutes.
- 10

When I opened the lid, I saw this appearance—isn't it very soothing? I just really liked it.
