Exclusive Crucian Carp and Papaya Soup
Whole crucian carp pan-fried until golden, then simmered in a clay pot with ripe papaya into a milky, naturally sweet soup prized for nourishment.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare materials
- 2

Marinate the crucian carp with an appropriate amount of cooking wine for a while
- 3

Peel the papaya, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces
- 4

Heat oil in a pan, add the crucian carp and fry until both sides are golden brown
- 5

Pour in an appropriate amount of water (either cold or boiling) and bring it to a boil over high heat
- 6

Transfer into the clay pot, add scallions, ginger, and papaya, and the red dates—I just saw and casually threw in five of them.
- 7

Bring to a boil over high heat for ten minutes, then simmer over low heat for 40 minutes.
- 8

Add an appropriate amount of salt and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
- 9

The soup is sweet and tastes very good.
