Exclusive Fennel Meat Roll
A fluffy steamed yeasted dough rolled around a juicy filling of minced pork and chopped fennel fronds, sliced to reveal a fragrant spiraled swirl.
Instructions
- 1

Put yeast in warm water.
- 2

Add the flour, which is made from wheat that my mother-in-law washed and milled herself. It's a bit coarse, but it tastes very good.
- 3

Knead into a dough and let it ferment in a warm place.
- 4

Ferment until it doubles in size.
- 5

Take the minced meat.
- 6

Add cooking oil, salt, and chicken essence.
- 7

Mix well and add light soy sauce.
- 8

Mix again.
- 9

Clean the fennel leaves thoroughly.
- 10

Chop finely.
- 11

Add it to the minced meat, pour in a little water, and mix evenly.
- 12

Take out the fermented dough, knead it to remove the air, and divide it into 4 portions.
- 13

Roll out the dough.
- 14

Spread the filling.
- 15

Roll it up.
- 16

The secondary fermentation is good.
- 17

Put into the steamer.
- 18

Bring to a boil over high heat, steam over medium heat for 25 minutes, then let it sit for 5 minutes.
- 19

Let it cool to a warm temperature, take it out, and cut it into pieces.
- 20

Finished product.
