Exclusive Fried Cake
Puffed fried doughnuts of fermented glutinous rice dough stuffed with sweet red bean paste, deep-fried at medium heat until the shell turns golden and crisp outside, chewy within.
Instructions
- 1

Add white sugar to the glutinous rice.
- 2

Pour in the prepared yeast water while stirring.
- 3

Knead the dough.
- 4

The dough has risen to twice its size and has a honeycomb structure inside.
- 5

Grease your hands with oil, take a piece of glutinous rice flour dough, press it into a cake, and wrap it with bean paste. (The bean paste is homemade by me; the method can be found in the previous recipe)
- 6

Package into groups for backup.
- 7

Press into a cake.
- 8

When the oil is about 60-70% hot, turn to medium-low heat and add the dough.
- 9

After frying until set, turn over and fry until both sides are golden brown and the surface is bubbling.
- 10

Remove to control oil.
- 11

Crispy on the outside and sticky on the inside, with a sweet and fragrant bean filling.
