Exclusive Korean Bibimbap
A sizzling stone-bowl bibimbap with steamed rice, blanched zucchini, bean sprouts, carrot, spinach, and egg, finished with a spicy sauce and mixed tableside for a crisp, warm contrast.
Instructions
- 1

Cut the zucchini into thin slices.
- 2

Rinse the soybean sprouts.
- 3

Grate the carrot.
- 4

Use whatever meat we have at home.
- 5

Wash the spinach and cut it into small sections.
- 6

Bring an appropriate amount of water in the pot to a boil, blanch the spinach until just tender, then remove it.
- 7

Blanch the carrots as well.
- 8

You can also fry the eggs a bit; I used the eggs I boiled in the morning as a substitute.
- 9

The rice is steamed.
- 10

Pour into the stone pot and set aside.
- 11

Heat a small amount of oil in the pan, and stir-fry the garlic and Sichuan peppercorns until fragrant.
- 12

Pick out the Sichuan peppercorns.
- 13

Add the soybean sprouts and zucchini.
- 14

Add a little boiling water, and stir-fry them separately.
- 15

A pinch of salt, light soy sauce.
- 16

Stir-fry until cooked and serve. (Serve the zucchini first)
- 17

There is still some broth in the pot, so in the spirit of not wasting it, I also put the abalone slices in and stirred them a couple of times; the abalone slices absorbed more flavor 😅.
- 18

Stir-fried zucchini, soybean sprouts, abalone slices, along with blanched spinach, carrots, and eggs are placed on top of the rice.
- 19

Squeeze an appropriate amount of Korean-style chili paste, and sprinkle some sesame seeds for garnish.
- 20

Finished product.
- 21

It's really delicious 😍
