Exclusive Lung-Nourishing and Cough-Relieving Soup
A classic lung-moistening herbal soup with night-blooming cereus flowers, apricot kernels, figs, honey dates, and pork bones, slow-simmered into a mellow, subtly sweet broth.
Instructions
- 1

The ingredients are ready.
- 2

Soak the daylily and north and south almonds in clean water.
- 3

Blanch the pork bones and remove them.
- 4

Blanch the bones and rinse them clean, and also wash the figs and honey dates thoroughly.
- 5

Soak the dragon phoenix flower until soft, then tear it apart and rinse clean.
- 6

Put all the ingredients into the pot and add an appropriate amount of water.
- 7

Cover it with the lid and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- 8

After it boils, skim off any foam, cook on high heat for 20 minutes, then switch to low heat and cook for 40 minutes.
- 9

After the soup has been cooked for more than an hour, add an appropriate amount of salt to taste. (The soup itself is naturally sweet, so only a small amount of salt is needed)
- 10

Finished product. Sweet and refreshing.
