Exclusive Minced Meat Zongzi
Soy-and-alkaline seasoned rice layered with overnight-marinated pork belly inside leaf cones, pinched shut by hand for plump zongzi with juicy, savory centers.
Instructions
- 1

Glutinous rice.
- 2

Clean the bamboo leaves thoroughly and blanch them in boiling water.
- 3

After washing the glutinous rice clean, add alkaline water, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and salt, and mix evenly.
- 4

The pork belly was marinated the night before, seasoned with cooking wine, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
- 5

The first step is to fold it into a nest.
- 6

In the second step, put in the glutinous rice and poke it down with chopsticks.
- 7

Add the meat filling in the middle and continue to put rice on top.
- 8

Pinch with both hands, cover with the leaf on top, and then you can tie the string.
- 9

Wrap each one like this.
- 10

Put it into a pressure cooker, bring it to a boil over high heat, then simmer on low heat for three hours.
- 11

Boil it, take it out, drain the water, and eat it after it cools—it tastes better that way.
- 12

Fragrant, glutinous, and tasty.
- 13

Delicious zongzi.
