Exclusive Pork Belly and Glutinous Rice Zongzi
A classic savory zongzi of glutinous rice wrapped around soy-and-five-spice-marinated pork belly, pressure-cooked until the meat melts and the rice glistens with rendered fat.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the glutinous rice in advance.
- 2

Rinse the bamboo leaves repeatedly until the water used for rinsing becomes clear, and then let them dry.
- 3

After cleaning the pork belly, cut it into small pieces, add salt, cooking wine, ground Sichuan pepper, and dark soy sauce, and mix evenly. Refrigerate overnight.
- 4

Wrap it into a zongzi shape that you are familiar with.
- 5

Put it into a pressure cooker and add water. After the pot boils, cook with the steam pressure valve for 50 minutes.
