Instructions
- 1

Prepare the sweet red beans and set aside.
- 2

Peel the pumpkin, steam it until cooked, and mash it into a puree.
- 3

Mix the flour and yeast, knead with pumpkin puree into a smooth dough, cover with a damp cloth, and let it ferment in a warm place.
- 4

The well-fermented dough.
- 5

Take the dough out, place it on the work surface, knead to release the air, and divide it into small portions.
- 6

Flatten it and roll it into small round pieces that are thicker in the middle and thinner around the edges.
- 7

Add an appropriate amount of sweet red beans.
- 8

Wrap them into buns and place them in the steamer basket for a second fermentation.
- 9

When the baozi dough has grown larger and lighter, place it in a steamer with cold water. After the water boils and produces steam, reduce to medium heat and steam for 13 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it steam with the lid on for 3 minutes before opening.
