Exclusive Pumpkin Osmanthus Steamed Bun
Naturally sweet steamed buns tinted golden with pumpkin puree and perfumed with osmanthus sugar, fermented until pillowy and steamed to a soft, springy, floral-fragrant finish.
Instructions
- 1

Peel the pumpkin and steam it until cooked, then put it in a blender to mash into a puree. After it is warm, add yeast to dissolve.
- 2

Flour and osmanthus sugar.
- 3

Mix with pumpkin puree to form a smooth dough.
- 4

Cover with a damp cloth and let it ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size.
- 5

Take it out and press on the cutting board to knead and release the air, then divide it into small pieces.
- 6

Roll and knead into a long strip.
- 7

Cut into pieces.
- 8

Place it in a steamer lined with corn husks to rise. When the dough balls become larger and lighter, steam them over cold water. After the water boils and steam rises, switch to medium heat for 15 minutes, turn off the heat, let it steam with residual heat for 5 minutes, and then open the lid.
- 9

The fragrant and soft steamed buns are out of the steamer.
