Exclusive Pumpkin Whole Wheat Steamed Bun
Wholesome steamed buns blending pumpkin puree into whole wheat and all-purpose flours, proofed twice for cloud-soft, faintly sweet, warmly golden crumb.
Instructions
- 1

Peel the pumpkin, remove the seeds, steam it until cooked, and mash it into a puree.
- 2

All-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, yeast, and sugar are placed into the pumpkin puree.
- 3

Knead into a smooth dough, cover with a damp cloth, and let it ferment in a warm place.
- 4

Take the well-fermented dough out and knead it on the workbench to release the gas, then divide it evenly into small portions.
- 5

Kneaded into a round bun dough.
- 6

Put it in the steamer basket to let it ferment.
- 7

When the steamed bun dough has grown larger and lighter, place it in the steamer with cold water. Steam for 15 minutes after the water comes to a boil and produces steam, then turn off the heat and let it steam with the lid on for 5 more minutes before opening.
- 8

The steamed buns just came out of the steamer, with a strong wheat fragrance.
- 9

The sunlight comes down for a close-up.
