Exclusive Radish Meatball Soup
A homestyle radish meatball soup starting with Sichuan peppercorn-scented oil and scallions, then simmering garden radish chunks with soy-marinated pork meatballs in a light savory broth.
Instructions
- 1

Cut the radish into pieces and set aside. This radish is relatively small. It was homegrown. But it tastes very good.
- 2

Add a little light soy sauce, salt, and minced green onion and ginger to the ground meat, and mix well. Set aside.
- 3

Add a small amount of oil to the wok, and after it gets slightly hot, add a few Sichuan peppercorns. Once the peppercorns release their aroma, use a spatula to remove them, leaving the infused oil. Add chopped scallions, then add light soy sauce. Finally, add an appropriate amount of water. Since the oil is still quite hot after pressing the peppercorns, you need to quickly add the scallions and soy sauce, then immediately add water. Otherwise, the scallions will burn. That's why I didn't take a photo of adding the scallions. There was no time 🆗😓😰

After adding water, put in the sliced radish. Then blanch the meatballs.
- 5

After the water boils for about fifteen minutes, add a little salt, sesame oil, and vinegar. (Add vinegar according to your own preference.)

The delicious radish ball soup is ready 😁
