Exclusive Salted Duck Eggs
Cleaned duck eggs are dipped in liquor, rolled in salt and tightly wrapped before a spell of sunshine, then stored a month until yolks turn richly golden and oily.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the duck eggs clean, place them in a well-ventilated area to dry, making sure to turn them so that they dry completely with no moisture.
- 2

Soak the duck eggs in white liquor for a while.
- 3

Then roll it in salt so that it is fully coated with fine salt.
- 4

Then wrap it tightly with plastic wrap.
- 5

Wrap everything up and place it under the sun to dry for two hours.
- 6

Put the sun-dried duck eggs into a jar and store them in a cool place to cure for about a month.
- 7

Peel the cured duck eggs. Remove the plastic wrap and rinse them in clean water to wash off the salt.
- 8

Put the water in the pot cold, and cook for fifteen to twenty minutes after it boils.
- 9

The egg yolk releases oil, and it is soft, crumbly, and very fragrant.
