Exclusive Sauce-flavored Goose Leg
A whole goose leg is scalded to tighten the skin, seared with garlic and shallots, then simmered with soy sauce, rice wine and rock sugar until deeply savory and succulent.
Instructions
- 1

Preparation: Clean the goose legs thoroughly.
- 2

Preparation: ginger, garlic, shallots.
- 3

Briefly scald the goose leg with hot water to make the skin firmer.
- 4

Heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, and shallots to sauté until fragrant.
- 5

Place the goose legs in a pan and lightly sear both sides, then add soy sauce, rice wine, and rock sugar.
- 6

A suitable amount of boiling water, cook over medium to low heat.
- 7

Cover with the lid and cook for about 30 minutes.
- 8

Minutes passed, and when opening the lid, the color looks good. The goose leg is almost fully cooked. You can test by inserting chopsticks into the meatier part; if no blood seeps out, it is fully cooked.
- 9

To make the goose legs more beautifully colored, use a spoon to continuously baste the goose legs with the sauce.
- 10

After about five minutes, you can compare to see if the color is redder and brighter, then turn off the heat.
- 11

Place it on the plate and let it cool slightly.
- 12

Plate the cut pieces and drizzle with sauce before serving.
