Exclusive Sea Cucumber, Chive, and Fresh Meat Dumplings
Luxe boiled dumplings folding braised sea cucumber and chopped Chinese chives into ginger-scented pork, a filling whipped with stock for a bouncy, briny-sweet, extravagantly juicy bite.
Instructions
- 1
Wash the chives and drain the water.
- 2
Mix flour with warm water to make a moderately soft dough and let it rest for about thirty minutes, kneading it several times in between.
- 3
Clean the pork and cut it into pieces, then put it into the meat grinder, add salt, five-spice powder, and ginger powder, and turn on the grinding mode.
- 4
Chop the chives, soak the sea cucumber in advance, then chop it and set aside.
- 5
After mincing the meat, add salt, oyster sauce, and soy sauce, then gradually add scallion and ginger water, stirring in one direction until well combined.
- 6
Mix the chives and minced meat evenly, then add the diced sea cucumber and continue to mix evenly.
- 7
Add salt according to your own taste.
- 8
Roll the rested dough into strips, cut into pieces of equal size, and then roll out the dough pieces.
- 9
Put in an appropriate amount of sea cucumber, fresh meat, and chive filling, and wrap it into the shape you like.
- 10
Wrap them one by one and place them in the steamer basket.
- 11
Boil the dumplings in a pot of boiling water until they float three times, then remove them when cooked.
- 12
Paired with red oil vinegar dressing, it is simply delicious.
