Exclusive Snow Peas with Preserved Meats
Crisp snow peas are quickly blanched and folded with slices of sweet, wine-scented Chinese sausage, a simple two-ingredient plate where freshness meets cured richness.
Instructions
- 1

Snap off the ends of the snow peas and wash them clean.
- 2

The slanting knife is split in two.
- 3

Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add a little salt and a small amount of oil. Add the snow peas and blanch for 1–2 minutes (blanch for one minute if you like them crispy, or two minutes if you prefer them a bit softer).
- 4

Scoop out and let cool.
- 5

After steaming the sausages, slice them (cooked sausages can be sliced directly).
- 6

Add MSG, salt, and seasoning oil, and mix well (the method for seasoning oil was shared in a previous recipe).
- 7

Done.
