Exclusive Steamed Apple with Brown Sugar and Aged Tangerine Peel
Whole peeled apples scattered with aged tangerine peel are steamed gently and rested, turning silky-soft with warm citrus aroma and mellow, caramel sweetness.
Instructions
- 1

Preparation: Brown sugar and dried tangerine peel. Choose apples with wrinkled skin as they are sweeter than fresh ones. Peel and core the apples, and cut the dried tangerine peel into small strips.
- 2

Spread the dried tangerine peel over the surface of the apple, steam it in a pot of boiling water for 12 minutes, and let it sit covered for 10 minutes after turning off the heat.
- 3

It's steamed, and when I open the lid, I can smell a very fragrant fruity aroma.
