Exclusive Sweet and Sour Garlic
Purple-skinned garlic bulbs are cleaned, dried and covered in a cooled sugar-vinegar syrup inside a dark ceramic jar, mellowing for months into sweet, tangy, garlicky gems.
Instructions
- 1

Fresh purple-skinned garlic.
- 2

Peel off the outer shell and trim the root.
- 3

Wash with water and spread on a mat to dry.
- 4

Put it in a clean, opaque ceramic jar.
- 5

Add an appropriate amount of water to the white sugar, boil until melted, and turn off the heat.
- 6

Add salt and aromatic vinegar and mix well.
- 7

Let it cool and pour it into a bottle, seal it with a lid, and pickle for one to two months. Personally, I think the longer it sits, the tastier it gets.
- 8

Pickled sweet and sour garlic.
