Exclusive Sweet and Sour Pickled Radish
Paper-thin radish slices are lightly brined, then soaked in a glossy blend of sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil until sweet, sour and refreshingly crisp.
Instructions
- 1
Wash the radish and cut it into thin slices, then place them in a large bowl for later use.
- 2
Add an appropriate amount of salt, stir well, and marinate for ten minutes.
- 3
After a few minutes, a lot of juice will come out and should be discarded. Add an appropriate amount of cold boiled water to rinse clean and drain for later use.
- 4
Add an appropriate amount of white sugar, fragrant vinegar, Qianhe soy sauce, and sesame oil, mix well and marinate for about half an hour (the longer the marinating time, the more flavorful).
- 5
This is what it looks like after being marinated overnight.
- 6
Just plate it.
