Exclusive Tender Hand-Shredded Chicken

A whole chicken is gently steamed with ginger and scallion until juicy, then cooled and hand-shredded for remarkably tender, silky meat.

Instructions

  1. 1

    First, clean the chicken thoroughly.

    Ginger, scallion.

Massage both sides of the chicken with ginger, scallions, and a little salt.

Then remove the ginger and scallions, and place the chicken on a plate.

  5. 5

Put it into the electric cooker, bring the water to a boil, and steam on medium heat for 25 minutes (or until fully cooked).

When the time is up, open the lid, it smells so good.

  7. 7
    Step image

Poke the chicken thigh with chopsticks; if there is no blood, it is fully cooked. After that, you can either put it in ice water or let it cool before shredding by hand.

  8. 8

I put it in a resealable bag and placed it in the freezer for 20 minutes. After taking it out, the skin is crisp and the meat is smooth, with a great texture.

    Preparation: minced garlic, cilantro.

  10. 10
    Step image

Tear the chicken into pieces by hand.

Mix the minced garlic, cilantro, salted chicken powder, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and shredded chicken evenly, and then it is ready to taste.
