Exclusive Vinegar Soaked Kelp
Thick kelp slices are simmered, then left overnight in a sweet-sour bath of aged vinegar and sugar. The result is toothsome, tangy, and wonderfully refreshing straight from the fridge.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the dried kelp until it softens, then slice it. (At the end of the text, a method for soaking dried kelp is provided)
- 2

Boil for 5 to 10 minutes after the water comes to a boil.
- 3

Let the cooked kelp cool, then add light soy sauce, aged vinegar, sugar, sliced garlic, shredded ginger, small chili peppers, and MSG, and mix well.
- 4

Mix well and refrigerate overnight for a better taste. The ratio of aged vinegar, light soy sauce, and sugar is 4:2:1. If the light soy sauce is not salty enough, you can add a little more salt.
- 5

The refreshing cold salad is ready.
- 6

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1 to 2 days without any problem.
- 7

Porridge, steamed buns, and baozi are all good choices for breakfast.
