Instructions
- 1

Prepare the materials.
- 2

Cut the radish into large, irregular chunks.
- 3

Cilantro and green onions, cut into sections and set aside.
- 4

Blanching: Wash the pork leg bones and put them in a pot with cold water. Cook over medium-low heat slowly. It is crucial to start with cold water and use medium-low heat so that the blood and impurities in the bones can be slowly released. When the water boils, turn off the heat, remove the bones, and wash them clean. There is really a lot of impurities in the water after boiling, it’s very dirty, so no picture will be shown.
- 5

Put the parboiled big bone sticks into a pot, add water to cover the bones, add star anise and ginger slices, and drop a few drops of vinegar and cooking wine into the water to better remove the odor.
- 6

Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over medium-low heat for fifty minutes.
- 7

Add the white radish and an appropriate amount of salt, and simmer over medium heat for another ten minutes.
- 8

Stew the radish until it becomes translucent and tender, then add cilantro and chopped green onions, season with pepper and chicken bouillon, and it’s ready to serve.
- 9

The aroma of the bone soup makes you want to eat; tender radish, paired with a bowl of rice, is truly delicious.
