Exclusive White Radish and Sliced Pork Soup
A homestyle soup of cornstarch-marinated pork slices flash-fried in rendered lard, then simmered with paper-thin white radish for a sweet, peppery, aromatic broth.
Instructions
- 1

Use leaner pork and cut it into thin slices along the grain.
- 2

Add an appropriate amount of salt and a suitable amount of water starch for marination.
- 3

Wash the white radish and cut it into thin slices for later use.
- 4

Put pork back fat in the pot and melt it.
- 5

Add the meat slices and stir-fry quickly, then set aside.
- 6

Fresh vegetables are especially delicious when added to the soup for a little while.
- 7

Put water in the pot and bring it to a boil.
- 8

Add the white radish and vegetable seasoning. This vegetable seasoning is already salty, so there is no need to add salt to the soup. Turn to medium heat.
- 9

When the radish becomes soft and tender, we add the slices of meat and the pea shoots, add an appropriate amount of chicken bouillon, and turn off the heat. Let it simmer naturally for a while. Since the meat slices are already cooked, there is no need to cook them for too long.
