Exclusive Zongzi
A traditional savory pork zongzi: glutinous rice seasoned with a touch of alkali, soy and oyster sauce, wrapped around marinated pork belly and boiled until deeply fragrant and succulent.
Instructions
- 1

Wash the glutinous rice thoroughly and set it aside.
- 2

Clean the bamboo leaves thoroughly and soak them in sweat to disinfect.
- 3

Prepare the thick string for making zongzi later.
- 4

Cut the pork into pieces, marinate with cooking wine, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, and thirteen-spice for half an hour, then set aside.
- 5

Add an appropriate amount of alkali, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce to the glutinous rice to adjust the color.
- 6

Then use two pieces of bamboo leaves to roll a small nest.
- 7

First, put the glutinous rice below.
- 8

Place the marinated minced meat in the middle.
- 9

Place another layer of glutinous rice on top.
- 10

Then pinch with two fingers of the right hand.
- 11

Use your left hand to fold down the leaf above to wrap it.
- 12

Once the glutinous rice is completely wrapped like this, it can be tied up with hemp rope.
- 13

Wrap each one like this and then tie it up.
- 14

All wrapped up.
- 15

Put it in a pressure cooker, fill with water, and bring to a boil over high heat.
- 16

After it comes to a boil, reduce to the lowest heat and cook for three hours. Be sure not to cook on high heat, as the glutinous rice will burst.
- 17

Take it out and drain the water.
- 18
