Exclusively Red Dates, Peach Gum, Snow Swallow, and Soap Nut Rice
A luxurious sweet soup of soaked peach gum, snow swallow, and soap nut rice stewed with red dates, prized for its glossy, collagen-rich, syrupy texture.
Instructions
- 1

10g peach gum, 3g snow swallow, 3g soapberry seeds soaked; in hot weather, keep in the refrigerator
- 2

Pick out the impurities from the snow swallow.
- 3

Soaked soapnut seeds.
- 4

Peach gum is relatively hard, so it needs to be soaked for a longer time. It also contains more impurities, so it must be rinsed several times.
- 5

Remove the pits from the red dates and cut them into rings.
- 6

Add 1200g of water to the pot, first add red dates and peach gum and cook for 15 minutes, then add snow lotus seeds and cook for 5 minutes, finally add snow swallow and rock sugar and bring it to a boil.
- 7

Both hot drinks and cold foods are acceptable.
