First hit of the New Year: Exclusive Strawberry Cake Roll
A homemade recipe for First hit of the New Year: Exclusive Strawberry Cake Roll, combining low-gluten flour, egg and milk; baked until light, fluffy and golden. Perfect with tea or as a snack.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients (the hen is laying eggs...).
- 2

Separate the egg whites and egg yolks. Add white vinegar to the egg whites, and if possible, squeeze a few drops of lemon juice. After beating with a whisk until bubbles form, add about 10 grams of granulated sugar, then continue to beat until small and fine bubbles appear, and then add 10 grams of sugar each time.
- 3

In the last 1-2 minutes, use low speed to whip until the egg whites' texture is clearly visible, the whisk feels noticeably resisted, and when lifted, it can form small peaks with a slight curve at the tip.
- 4

Add vegetable oil and milk separately to the egg yolks, and stir well. (You can ask the little one at home to do this job; they are careful and thorough!)
- 5

Finally, add the cake flour and mix evenly.
- 6

Add the whipped egg whites in two more batches. After mixing evenly, transfer it into a preheated oven at 150 degrees for baking.
- 7

The cake was baked after a few minutes. Take it out to cool.
- 8

After removing the surface baking paper, spread strawberry jam, whipped cream, arrange the strawberries, and roll it up with somewhat unskilled hands.
- 9

Due to being too inexperienced with the technique and having a bit little cream (mainly worried about gaining weight, after all, there are other delicious foods during the New Year, and high-energy ingredients have already been added to the cake base).
- 10

Continue to cut the cake with somewhat unskilled hands, squeeze out some cream that has no shape, and then stick half a small strawberry on it. Who says it doesn't smell good?
