A prized milky fish soup: scored crucian carp is pan-fried then simmered in boiling water until the broth turns white, joined by shredded radish and tofu for sweet, milky richness.
Instructions
- 1

Remove the guts from the crucian carp and clean it thoroughly. Peel the white radish and cut it into shreds, and cut the tofu into pieces for later use.
- 2

Make three cuts on each side of the crucian carp.
- 3

Pour oil into the pan, heat it, and add the ginger slices.
- 4

Put the crucian carp into the pan and fry both sides.
- 5

Pour in boiling water and heat on high for 30 minutes.
- 6

Add the shredded radish and heat over medium-low heat for five to six minutes.
- 7

Then add the tofu cubes and continue heating for another five to six minutes.
- 8

Add a little salt to season before taking it off the heat.
- 9

Once taken out of the pot and plated, it can be eaten.
