First Release of Rock Sugar White Fungus and Snow Pear Soup
Snow fungus and snow pear slow-simmered with rock sugar into a thick, glossy dessert soup, treasured for moistening the throat and cooling the body.
Instructions
- 1

Soak the white fungus in warm water in advance, remove the yellow part at the root, and wash it clean repeatedly.
- 2

Tear the white fungus into small pieces, which makes it easier to cook until soft and glutinous.
- 3

Put the white fungus into the pot. I’ve been using this Zhenmi Smart Lift Electric Hot Pot these days, not just for hot pot, it’s really convenient for cooking soups and broths, easy to operate, easy to control high and low heat, no overflow, very handy to use, no need to watch it all the time. This pot has 5 levels, you can set the heat and cook with peace of mind.
- 4

Add an appropriate amount of water, just enough to cover the white fungus. Cover with a lid, bring to a boil over high heat, then cook on medium heat for about half an hour until the white fungus becomes soft and glutinous, and the soup turns slightly yellow. When scooped with a spoon, the soup is somewhat thick and viscous.
- 5

Peel the pear, wash it, and cut it into strips. There are many varieties of autumn pears, and you can also choose the flavor you like.
- 6

Add the pear, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, cooking until the pear becomes soft.
- 7

Add rock sugar and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- 8

Wash the goji berries, add them to the pot and cook for 1 minute before turning off the heat. Press one button to lift the basket, and all the food is in the basket. Isn't it very convenient?

Serve it in a bowl when it's cooked; it's a good choice for breakfast, afternoon tea, or late-night snack. It's light, sweet, and glutinous, nutritious and delicious.
