First Release of White Radish and Lamb Stew
A robust northern-style stew of lamb chunks and sweet white radish simmered slowly with crushed ginger and scallion, yielding a warming, savory broth that tames the meat's gaminess.
Instructions
- 1

Step 1: First, soak the lamb in clean water until the water becomes cloudy.
- 2

Step 2: Wash the turmeric and crush it flat as shown in the picture.
- 3

Cut the white radish into large pieces
- 4

Wash the scallions and tie them up as shown in the picture
- 5

Use this free time to prepare all the materials.
- 6

Wash the soaked mutton thoroughly, cut it into cubes, and put them into a pot. Add enough water to cover the meat with some extra, preferably adding a lot of water. Bring to a boil over high heat to blanch, skimming off the foam. Continue cooking over medium-high heat, and once the foam is completely removed, add small yellow ginger, green onions, red dates, and white angelica root. Cover with a lid and use a pressure cooker on high heat for 10 minutes.
- 7

Then quickly release the air using chopsticks or a fork
- 8

After cooling, open the lid, and what you see is a milky soup. Add the chopped white radish pieces and cooking wine, cover the lid, and continue to simmer on high heat for three more minutes.
- 9

After turning off the heat, let it cool naturally, then open the lid and add goji berries, salt, white pepper, chopped green onions, and garnish with cilantro. 😍😍😍 Such a simple and delicious dish can be served, 😁 unexpectedly two adults finished it in one meal 😂😂😂, now holding the watermelon belly and watching a movie.
