Fish roe and Chinese toon tofu make a family feast that rivals Michelin
A showstopper of minced toon sprouts, pressed tofu and glistening fish roe is layered for texture and finished with sesame oil, elegant enough to rival restaurant presentations.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2

Remove the roots of the Chinese toon sprouts and blanch them in boiling water for 1 minute. Once the red color turns green, take them out and drain the water, then chop the Chinese toon sprouts.
- 3

Crush the Chinese toon buds and place them in a bowl, add an appropriate amount of salt, sugar, and sesame oil, and mix evenly for later use.
- 4

After blanching the firewood tofu, place it in a bowl, add an appropriate amount of salt, and then gently crush it. Lay a piece of cheesecloth in a small bowl, then put in the tofu, gently press it down, and then add the chopped Chinese toon shoots.
- 5

Fold up the gauze, gently twist it to squeeze out the excess water, then twist it and refrigerate for half an hour to set the shape.
- 6

After setting, remove the gauze, place a spoonful of fish roe on top, and garnish with pepper leaves.
