Five Black Health Steamed Bun
Healthful steamed buns tinted naturally by a blended puree of black goji, black beans, black rice, black mulberry and black sesame, fermented with flour and lard for soft, subtly sweet, inky buns.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare 15 grams each of black goji berries, black beans, black rice, black mulberries, and black sesame seeds.
- 2

Clean thoroughly, add 320 grams of cold water, and blend into a paste using a blender.
- 3

The prepared rice porridge.
- 4

Take 350 grams of black paste.
- 5

Add 5 grams of yeast and stir evenly.
- 6

Add another 500 grams of flour and 10 grams of lard (if you don't have it, you can skip it).
- 7

Stir again evenly until large clumps form, with no dry powder.
- 8

Knead it by hand into a smooth dough.
- 9

No need to ferment, fold and roll until smooth, roll into long strips, and cut into small pieces.
- 10

Roll them separately into the shape of buns.
- 11

Place them into the steamer one by one, leaving gaps in between, and let them ferment until doubled in size (now that the temperature is high, about 40 minutes).
- 12

Steamed buns that have been properly proofed are light and fluffy, and they should bounce back immediately when pressed.
- 13

Place cold water in the pot, and after it starts to steam, steam on high heat for 12 minutes, then let it sit for 3 minutes before serving.
- 14

Alright, everyone has dewy skin.
- 15

Send a finished product picture.
- 16

Fluffy and soft, nutritious and healthy.
