Mix the Polish starter ingredients evenly, seal and refrigerate overnight until bubbles appear on the surface and it becomes stringy inside. Using a Polish starter will make the bread more flavorful and extend its shelf life.

  2. 2
    Step image

Put all the main dough ingredients and the Polish starter into the bread machine and start a kneading program. Knead until smooth, no need to develop a gluten film.

  3. 3

Knead the dough into a round shape by hand, place it in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap or a damp cloth, and let it ferment in a warm place.
