Fragrant Glutinous Lotus Root Starch Fruit Soup
A warm dessert soup: quick-set lotus root starch thickens into a glossy, translucent paste studded with banana, apple, raisins, and fragrant osmanthus for soothing, fruity sweetness.
Instructions
- 1

Two packs of lotus root powder, bought the individually packaged ones from the supermarket, which are practical, convenient, and hygienic. Gather some supplementary ingredients and pair them with what you like to eat. For fruits, it's best to use bananas and apples~ these two taste better when cooked. Other ingredients like raisins, dried bayberries, and adding a bit of osmanthus make it more fragrant~
- 2

First, pour a little cold boiled water into the lotus root powder, dissolve it and mix well, as long as there are no granules~
- 3

Boil peeled bananas in a small pot, add some apples~ We just finished the apples at home, so I didn't add any~ Just cook for a little while.
- 4

Then pour it into the lotus root starch that has been mixed beforehand, and use chopsticks to stir quickly into a paste, stirring evenly~
- 5

Finally, just add your favorite dried fruits—some dried bayberries, a few raisins, a bit of osmanthus, sprinkle some sesame seeds~ (You can also add a few goji berries, it will look even better 😄). The fruit soup is done, see, it's really simple~
