Fresh Meat and Century Egg Wonton
Boiled wontons filled with seasoned pork paste mixed with egg and aromatic ginger-scallion water, each hiding a chunk of creamy century egg for a rich, savory surprise.
Instructions
- 1
Add an appropriate amount of water to the fresh minced pork and mix well, then add seasoned Yipinxian soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- 2
Add the scallions, ginger, and garlic, and stir evenly in one direction.
- 3
Beat in an egg, add oil, sesame oil, salt, and MSG.
- 4
Similarly, stir evenly in one direction clockwise until the flavors are well absorbed.
- 5
Peel the century egg, wash it, and cut it into small pieces of uniform size for later use.
- 6
Take an appropriate amount of filling and place it in the center of the wonton wrapper, and place the century egg in the middle of the meat filling.
- 7
Fold the wonton wrapper in half, bringing the two ends of the wrapper together toward the center.
- 8
The wrapped wontons are arranged in order on the covering cloth.
- 9
Boil water in a pot and add a little salt. Gently push in the wontons clockwise. When the water boils, pour in a little cold water and continue to boil. Once all the wontons float and puff up, they are ready to be taken out of the pot.
- 10
Place the cooked wontons onto a plate.
- 11
Wash the cilantro and green onions and chop them into small pieces for later use.
- 12
Pour an appropriate amount of water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Add premium soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and MSG for seasoning. Finally, sprinkle with chopped green onions and cilantro to enhance the flavor.
- 13
Place the wontons into a container, then pour in an appropriate amount of broth, and it's all done.
- 14
It's awesome to eat it with cucumber and pork head meat, braised pork liver, and fish cakes 👏
- 15
The wonton wrappers are thin and the filling is generous. The fresh meat mixed with century egg is rich and flavorful, leaving a lingering taste that people can savor endlessly.
- 16
A hearty and energizing breakfast will bring your family good luck for the whole day!
