Fried Sanzi
Egg-enriched stiff dough studded with black and white sesame is rolled paper-thin, cut into strips, twisted into ornate sanzi coils, and deep-fried into shatteringly crisp, golden savory-sweet strands.
Instructions
- 1

All-purpose flour.
- 2

Add eggs, salt, and black and white sesame seeds.
- 3

Pour in an appropriate amount of water and stir.
- 4

Knead into a slightly firmer dough, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for another 20 minutes.
- 5

Knead the dough until it's ready, then roll it into thin sheets.
- 6

Fold in half.
- 7

Cut into thin long strips with a knife, do not cut through at the top, only cut through on the fourth cut.
- 8

The openings at both ends are glued together.
- 9

On the contrary, make it into decorative embryos.
- 10

Complete them all in order.
- 11

Heat the oil in a pan, add a small piece of dough, and if it floats quickly, the oil temperature is just right.
- 12

Slide the fried dough flowers along the edge of the pot; putting them directly into the hot oil can burn your hands. Fry for about six to seven minutes.
- 13

If you see lots of tiny bubbles on the surface, that's about right.
- 14

Fry until golden and crispy, then remove.
- 15

Finished product. Fragrant, crispy, and crunchy, a must-have for New Year goods.
