Fried Sugar Cake
Scalded dough made with sugared water and lard is filled with brown sugar, then deep-fried until puffed and crisp outside, molten-sweet within.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2

Add 250ml of cold water to the pot, and put in the sugar.
- 3

Add lard and peanut oil in.
- 4

Dissolve it with a spoon and bring the water to a boil.
- 5

Put in the flour and stir with chopsticks.
- 6

Turn off the heat after molding.
- 7

Place on the cutting board, cut into small pieces, and let cool.
- 8

Add an appropriate amount of cooled boiled water and knead the dough until smooth.
- 9

Wake up for 20 minutes.
- 10

Take a large bowl and add an appropriate amount of brown sugar and flour.
- 11

Stir evenly.
- 12

Roll into a long strip.
- 13

Cut into small pieces, flatten, put the brown sugar in, close it with the palm of your hand, and press flat.
- 14

Pour oil into the pan, and when the oil is about 70% hot, put in the prepared sugar cakes. Do not flip them at first; wait until they are set, then fry until both sides are golden and take them out.
