Frosted peanuts
Oven-toasted peanuts tossed in simmering sugar syrup until each kernel wears a brittle white frost, finished with sesame for a crunchy, caramel-sweet snack.
Instructions
- 1
Wash the peanuts clean with water.
- 2
Control the moisture.
- 3
Put it in the oven, press the dried fruit button, and bake at 180°C for 5 minutes.
- 4
Prepare 100 grams of water and 100 grams of white sugar.
- 5
Pour into the pot.
- 6
Stir continuously with a spatula over low to medium heat.
- 7
The peanuts are also roasted.
- 8
Wait until the white sugar boils up into big bubbles.
- 9
Pour in the roasted peanuts.
- 10
Quickly stir-fry with a spatula, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, and coat every peanut with syrup.
- 11
Continue stir-frying until the syrup solidifies into frosting; this frosted peanut dish can then be served and enjoyed.
- 12
Peanuts coated this way are extremely crispy and crunchy, and when eaten, they also have the sweetness of the sugar coating. They are incredibly delicious.
