Health pot cooking snow swallow
A beauty-boosting health-kettle dessert: snow swallow tree resin is soaked overnight until fully gelatinous, rinsed clean, then gently simmered into a translucent, jelly-like, almost taste-free soup for sweetening.
Instructions
- 1
[Soak] Put the snow swallow in a basin, add plenty of water, and soak for more than 10 hours. This is for three people. It should be about ten grams or so.
- 2
Soaked well. There is nothing hard, all soaked into strands.
- 3
[Washing] If there are tiny impurities in the snow swallow, wash them clean. Actually, just add water to a basin, then pour out the excess water; along with the water flow, the impurities will go away. Repeat a few times and it will be clean. If there are no impurities, skip this step.
- 4
[Cooking] Put snow swallow into the health-preserving pot, add twice the amount of cold water, and cook.
- 5
Turn on the heat and cook for 30 minutes. This function of my fruit tea is just 30 minutes. A few minutes before it's done, add sugar. Snow swallow has no taste on its own. Add more if you like it sweeter.
- 6
Time's up, just pour it out immediately. Add a few goji berries. The fine strands have become smooth. If cooked for too long, snow swallow will dissolve.
