Homemade fries, comparable to McDonald's
Copycat fast-food french fries boiled briefly, dusted with starch, and fried until crisp, achieving golden crusty exteriors and fluffy centers remarkably close to the restaurant original.
Instructions
- 1

Peel the potatoes, wash them clean, cut them to the desired length, and soak them in water to remove starch.
- 2

Put water in the pot and bring it to a boil, then put the potato strips into the water and cook for about a minute, then drain the potato strips.
- 3

Control the water in the potato strips and sprinkle them with starch, making sure each potato strip is evenly coated with starch.
- 4

When the oil reaches about 80% of its heat, add the potato strips, fry until they set, then use chopsticks to separate the potato strips that are stuck together.
- 5

Potato strips are fried until golden.
- 6

Remove to control oil.
- 7

All the fries are fried, then fry them again.
- 8

The fried fries are served, golden yellow.
- 9

Paired with homemade ketchup, the taste is not inferior to KFC or McDonald's at all.
