Homemade Meat Floss Rice Ball
Homemade rice balls studded with hand-made pork floss: tender loin simmered, shredded, and machine-tossed with soy, oyster sauce, and sesame until fluffy, then wrapped in warm white rice.
Instructions
- 1
Trim the tendons from the tenderloin and cut it into large pieces.
- 2
Put it in a pot of cold water with slices of ginger (add more) and cook thoroughly (about ten minutes after the water boils).
- 3
Let it cool and tear it into shreds.
- 4
Put into the bread machine and add soy sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and sugar.
- 5
Press the pork floss key and wait 😄
- 6
It will be fine in a few minutes!
- 7
Taste it, and if it's not sweet enough, add sugar while it's hot and mix well.
- 8
Prepare white rice.
- 9
Add the chopped carrots (blanching them first gives a better texture).
- 10
Add the chopped spinach.
- 11
Add the freshly made meat floss as well.
- 12
Added some more crushed seaweed and mixed well.
- 13
Put on gloves and shape the rice ball into your favorite form. I made a little Minion shape. Then add a layer of seaweed around the rice ball.
- 14
All done! Let's eat. Put any leftovers in a sealed bag and store them in the fridge.
- 15
A slice of cheese, a slice of bread, with some pork floss. Breakfast for the next day is ready! Happily going to work 😁
