Homemade Sachima
Egg-rich dough rolled, cut, and flash-fried into airy strands, then bound with a bubbling maltose syrup and packed with nuts, giving the classic soft-chewy, honey-sweet Sachima.
Instructions
- 1

Knead the eggs and flour into a smooth dough. It's okay if it's not smooth 🤗
- 2

After resting the dough for about 1 hour, roll it out into a 3mm thick sheet.
- 3

Cut into strips and fry in oil at 60% heat until floating, about 30–40 seconds, then remove.
- 4

Put the granulated sugar and maltose into water and boil until it bubbles vigorously.
- 5

Add the fried noodles and prepared nuts to the pot and stir-fry quickly.
- 6

Use a non-stick mold to scoop it out, sprinkle with black sesame seeds, let it cool, and then cut into pieces.
- 7

You can eat it once it's cut into pieces! You can also put the rest in a bag to serve guests, which is also nice!
