Homemade Shiitake Mushroom and Chopped Chili Spicy Sauce
Chopped shiitake mushrooms are slow-fried until fragrant, then joined by a whole bottle of pickled chili, crushed peanuts, soy sauce and sugar for a deeply savory hot sauce.
Instructions
- 1
An appropriate amount of shiitake mushrooms
- 2
Wash clean
- 3
Squeeze the water out
- 4
Chop the shiitake mushrooms into small pieces
- 5
Put three tablespoons of oil in the pan and heat over low heat
- 6
Chop the shiitake mushrooms and sauté over low heat
- 7
A bottle of chopped chili peppers set aside for use
- 8
When the shiitake mushrooms release their aroma, add the chopped chili, pouring in the whole bottle.
- 9
Stir-fry evenly and add an appropriate amount of salt [since chopped chili is already salty]
- 10
Peanuts, appropriate amount, chopped
- 11
Add to the pot and stir-fry
- 12
Stir-fry evenly and then add soy sauce
- 13
Add an appropriate amount of white sugar [I added a big spoonful; a little more can help mellow the spiciness]
- 14
Add sugar and after two minutes add chicken bouillon
- 15
Finally, just reduce the sauce over high heat.
- 16
Very fragrant, very spicy, very satisfying!
