Homemade Snacks - Red Dates Stuffed with Walnuts Exclusive
Classic Chinese nibble: jujube dates slit open and cored, hugging whole crunchy walnut kernels; naturally chewy-sweet, nutty, and energy-rich with no added sugar needed.
Instructions
- 1

Prepare walnuts and red dates. The red dates are best of moderate size, and the walnuts are best with thin shells, making it easier to remove the whole nut.
- 2

Quickly rinse the red dates twice, drain the water, or dry them with kitchen paper.
- 3

Use a tool to remove the walnut kernel, and try to keep it intact when taking out the kernel.
- 4

Use a pitter to remove the pit from the jujube.
- 5

Remove all the jujube pits.
- 6

Cut open the red date with scissors.
- 7

Open the cut jujube, take a kernel and embed it inside. Depending on the size of the jujube, embed 1 to 2 kernels.
- 8

If conditions allow, each red date can be individually packaged, making it convenient to carry around and hygienic.
