Honey Egg Twist
Homemade twisted doughnuts enriched with honey, egg, and milk, proofed twice and slow-fried over medium heat until deep golden with a crisp shell and tender crumb.
Instructions
- 1

Add various ingredients.
- 2

Then add milk and stir until it becomes flaky, then add cooking oil.
- 3

Cover the moderately soft and firm dough with plastic wrap and let it rest.
- 4

Knead the dough until smooth after it has fermented.
- 5

Divide into equal small portions.
- 6

Roll into strips.
- 7

Every time I fry double-stranded twisted dough sticks, this time I rolled them into single-stranded twisted dough sticks.
- 8

The second fermentation is complete.
- 9

Add cooking oil to the pan and fry slowly over medium-low heat (high heat can easily burn).
- 10

Fry until golden.
- 11

This batch of twisted dough sticks doesn't look very appealing, but the texture is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the family unanimously agreed that it tastes 'delicious'.
