Korean Kimchi Cheese Stir-Fried Rice Cakes
Sliced rice cakes are simmered tender, then stir-fried with savory pork belly, tangy kimchi, and garlic for a spicy, chewy Korean-style dish finished with melted cheese.
Instructions
- 1

Cut the ordinary rice cake into slices.
- 2

Prepare pork belly with the skin removed and a small bowl of kimchi.
- 3

After the water boils, put the rice cakes into the boiling water and cook until done.
- 4

After taking it out, put it in cold water to prevent it from sticking together, and rinse it with cold water several times to let it cool.
- 5

Add oil to the pan, then put the slices of meat into the pan and stir-fry until fragrant.
- 6

Add oil to the pot, then put in the garlic cloves.
- 7

Put in the kimchi.
- 8

Then slide the cooked rice cake into the kimchi.
- 9

Pour in the meat slices and add some soy sauce. At this point, you don't need to add salt because the kimchi is already salty. If possible, you can add a bit of the kimchi juice, which will make it even less bland.
- 10

Finally, add the mozzarella cheese, stir-fry for a while, and then serve.
- 11

Such a delicious dish! For the cheese, just choose regular shredded mozzarella.
