Let's have a bowl of glutinous, sweet sesame rice dumplings~
Chewy glutinous rice balls hiding a nutty black sesame and pecan filling bound with butter and sugar, boiled until the shells turn translucent and the centers flow.
Instructions
- 1

Roasted black sesame seeds and pecans (other nuts can be substituted) are poured into a grinding tool and ground into a powder, or blended into a powder using a high-speed blender.
- 2

Add white sugar and continue grinding.
- 3

Scoop out the ground sesame, add the melted butter and 30 grams of hot water, knead into a dough, and place in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator to freeze and set.
- 4

Pour the glutinous rice flour into warm water and knead it into a dough.
- 5

Place the kneaded dough into a plastic bag and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 6

Tear the well-risen dough into small pieces and roll them into flat rounds.
- 7

Place the frozen black sesame filling into the wrapper.
- 8

Coat with glutinous rice flour.
- 9

Put the glutinous rice balls into boiling water and cook until they float, then they're ready~
