Little Rabbit Donut Bun
An adorable steamed bun cut with a donut mold, with teardrop dough ears pressed on and cocoa or pink accents added to form a plump little rabbit.
Instructions
- 1
Mix all the main ingredients and knead into a smooth, appropriate dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- 2
Roll it into a sheet, not too thin.
- 3
Cut out rings using a donut mold.
- 4
Cut the small round dough in the middle into two, and knead them into a teardrop shape.
- 5
Place it at the bottom of the ring, press it with a tool, and make rabbit ears.
- 6

Add the scraps of dough separately to cactus fruit powder and dark cocoa powder, and knead into pink and black dough. Use molds to press out bows and expressions.
- 7
Then use the pink dough to knead out 9 pairs of slightly smaller teardrop shapes.
- 8
Stick it on the ear and then flatten it, then attach the expression.
- 9
Stick on the bow.
- 10
Use a small brush to dip a little prickly pear powder and apply blush on both sides. The raw piece is now done.
- 11
After fermenting until doubled in size, place it in the Meiyu steam oven.
- 12
Select the steam mode, set to 100 degrees for 20 minutes.
